1. "Do not ask who I am and do not ask me to remain the same: leave it to our bureaucrats and our police to see that our papers are in order. At least spare us their morality when we write."
-Foucault.

2. At the same time* a soon to be lawyer and an aging punk rocker; a jock and a nerd; a New Yorker who lives in Washington D.C. Both very old and starting all over. An Irish Catholic who does not believe in god. A former anarchist with an admiration for markets. An experiential learner who spends most of his time with his head in books. A royal fuck-up trying to make good.

3. "The doctrine holds no content"
-Spann

4. This journal used to cover lots of things, but be largely about politics. Now, it is largely about books and my boring ass life. It is almost entirely friends only.

* This LJ’s name was partially inspired by the Susan Sontag , and partially by [info]never_the_less and partially by the old joke about the one handed economist.
